Dit boek heeft mij van begin tot einde weten vast te houden doormiddel van de vele ervaringen die Gabriella heeft meegemaakt tijdens haar leven die niet op de meeste van ons van toepassing zijn. Maar juist dit maakt haar boek zo sterk, aangezien dit de lezer een kans geeft om onder andere in het eens zo “nobele” adoptie fenomeen te kijken. Door Gabriella`s persoonlijke manier van schrijven leest het boek alsof het verhaal direct aan je word verteld door haarzelf.
